Tonight on Your Health First, Dr. Galati's mother, Agnes, will be calling in to further discuss the health aspects of broccoli rabe. A regular contributer to Your Health First, Dr. Galati's mom will talk about an easy recipe to prepare broccoli rabe. This includes the following:

1. 2 bunches of broccoli rabe

2. Approximately 10 cloves of garlic

3. Olive oil

4. Salt and pepper

In a large frying pan, add about 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Brown the garlic (don't burn).

Add the broccoli rabe, 2 tablespoons of water, and cover over low-medium heat until it wilts and is soft. 

Add salt and pepper to taste.

This vegetable dish can be eated as a meal itself (of course with some good Italian bread), or as a side dish.
