Prostate Cancer: Update from Dr. Brian Miles

Tonight, Dr. Galati will have Dr. Brian Miles on to discuss prostate cancer. September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

Dr. Miles is a board-certified urologist and the Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at The Methodist Hospital. His primary focus is in the detection and surgical treatment of prostate cancer, prostate disease, renal (kidney), and bladder cancer.

Dr. Miles received his medical education at the University of Michigan and completed his urology training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. After teaching at Madigan Army Medical Center, he returned to Detroit to practice at Henry Ford Hospital for eight years where he was also director of Resident Education and director of Urologic Oncology for the Department of Urology.

In 1993 he joined the Scott Department of Urology at Baylor College of Medicine as an associate professor. His surgery, research and teaching skills make Dr. Miles an excellent addition to Methodist Urology Associates.
