Otis Brawley, M.D. American Cancer Society 

Dr. Otis Brawley, Chief Medical Officer, American Cancer Society, will be joining Dr. Galati this week to discuss the effect of gender on your cancer risk. Besides breast and prostate cancer, it is generally thought that other cancers effect men and women equally. This is not true. Bladder cancer is found in more men, and colon cancer occurs in women slightly less to to differences in colon length in women. Cancer of the esophagus is found almost three times more often in men, compared to women.
